Hi my name is Ace Nilson...37.
I’m currently residing in Bend, Oregon.
Experience: I’ve been riding and racing since the age of 12.
Some of my accomplishments can be found on www.mxresultz.com/racinace. My son and I share the site there to showcase and thank our sponsors.
This year (April 2008) I went with 5 others to ride 1,100 miles in Baja which you can read more about here: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=341574&highlight=Baja+definately+adventure
That trip fueled a desire to ride and race in Baja that I don’t think will ever be quenched. There is just something about that place that is very surreal and majestic. Springer and I first talked about this adventure to race the 1000 in Early August. I had read his posts on www.advrider.com and I was instantly excited about being a part of this effort. My passion and excitement have grown considerably after learning of the mission of this team. Their future goals of supporting our youth and helping them succeed in life using motorcycles to show them the way is a truly noble cause.
My role for this race will be to fill in if one of the scheduled 5 riders is unexpectedly injured or unable to compete. I will be ready with my gear bag packed and on alert status during the month of November. I don't shy away from a challenge and I never give up. The Baja 1000 is calling my name! Thank you for supporting this team and it goals.
