I had to make some choices and just by chance some new friends of mine (“ADVriders”) had to find a replacement rider for their team effort after an injury. Enter the best of all options, I can still go, I can provide all that I am to helping close friends compete in a dream we all have: To go to Baja, race the 1000, and most importantly have fun. I am so happy to be a part of this that no matter what happens – having fun is going to be a “WINNER”!

Come on down, cheer us through the race course and support Snortin’ Boar Racing from start to finish, there will be a huge party after this is over, and memories to last a lifetime; no matter what gets in the way again. Cheers and Go SBR!

Hi, I’m Russell Mosher otherwise known as PacWestGS which came from my only motocross championship which I won, the CMC Pac West Nationals in the Northwest USA. I added GS because that’s what I ride now; the ultimate world touring bike from BMW.

I have been riding motorcycles since I was twelve years old and that’s pretty close to 33-years ago. There have been times I was without, but I always came back to them. Motorcycles are my world and can’t imagine not having one. I have lived and ridden in all areas of the USA and a few places outside the US, so there is not much terrain I have not seen. It is really exciting to be going to Baja Mexico and test myself at the ultimate long distance off-road race in the Americas. This is going to be a blast!

I hope to rely on over ten-years of racing dirt bikes in many of the disciplines from motocross to hare scrambles, enduros, and cross-country events sanctioned by the AMA. In addition, to all the just for fun “play” riding double and single track in the mountains and sand hills, to wide open deserts, sand dunes and beaches.

This dream was started by my best friend and riding buddy of nearly 18-years, about three-years ago to do this race from start to finish the “Iron man” way. He’s going to be 50 and I’m 45. We both agreed to this and have been working towards this goal. However, sometimes life gets in the way. In my case, my lovely wife of ten years gave birth to our son 18-months ago, work and life has changed many times over the last few years – some good some not so good.
